Hello C'K peeps, in this week edition of your slot entirely dedicated to young Cameroonian athletes performing beyond our national boundaries let us take the direction of the Philippines in Asia to go at the discovery of a young basketball player. His name is Mike Harry Nzeusseu.

Mike hails from the grass field region of our beautiful country and he is one of those persons who can inspire many people through the story of his life. Suffering from asthma since birth, sport was not his cup of tea and every time he practiced it he ended up having asthma attacks during the night. It's at the age of 15, when he discovered that it's through his relentless efforts to practice basketball that he was having some improvement in his health status and therefore continued to persevere with determination and good will.

With a typical and traditional African dad , everything wasn't pink. His father wanted him to focus on his studies, obtain a degree and after have a good job but the passion for Basketball was submerging him. It's with time that the father understood that basketball was what his son really wanted to do and and that it was his source of joy and happiness.

From that moment up to today, Mike never stopped playing and succeeds to make a living out of it. Since his arrival in the Philippines be has been playing all over the country firstly through the commercial league and now in a college team.

Currently, Mike Harry is pursuing a college course ( last year ) at the Lyceum of Philippines and he is playing 3, 4 and 5 in the LPU pirates. After his course, Mike says that everywhere God will decide to send him he will just go. Concerning God, Mike is a real faithful Christian and hopes that through his passion he will be able to share the word of God and inspire many other people.

Playing in the European league or the NBA and equally for the the national team of Cameroon are the ambitions of our brother who admires the relentless spirit of Cameroonians who can adapt anywhere and succeed no matter how far they are from their mother country or how hard it is.

We therefore hope that, our brother Mike Harry Nzeusseu will succeed and reach the summit in his professional career.
